The support you need, when overcoming adversity, will vary depending on what’s happening. It may be the ear of a trusted friend, a counselor, a coach or therapist. If your initial choice does not work for you, then try someone or something else.

Sometimes our friends or relatives are just too close to us. They may not be willing to tell you what you need to hear or could be going through their own challenges at the time. Finding someone who’s professional occupation it is to help people find their way, is often a great option. Be aware you may need to try a few different practitioners before you find the person who is right for you. (article continued below the video)
